Hoping to address this problem, I have teamed up with two other high school students to develop a technological and business proposal for an external pacemaker. Our idea has reached finalist status in the Conrad Spirit of Innovation Competition; for by stimulating muscle contraction, we can counteract muscular atrophy and extend space flights.
